CLOSING OFF AN EVENTFUL YEAR THAT SAW SOUTH AFRICANS CONQUER AND THRIVE THROUGH ADVERSITY

Freedom Park, a national heritage site, in Pretoria, will on the 11 December 2021, host the 2nd annual music festival with an aim to highlight issues amongst others, of racism, unity, xenophobia, violence against women and children etc. The music festival comes at a time when our resilience as a nation has been put to test thus creating a great opportunity to acknowledge and encourage the public to practice Ubuntu in our communities.

Freedom Park is a place to engage matters relating to our multicultural country, multiracial and multi-ethnic society. This is done through intergenerational dialogues, public lectures, opinion pieces etc.; with an aim to achieve objectives pivotal to Freedom Park, such as nation building, reconciliation, and social cohesion. The annual ubuntu music festival responds to attributes  related to social cohesion .
