Who can forget the haunting image of a dying Hector Peterson who later became a symbol of resistance against the imposition of Afrikaans as a medium of instruction in the black schools?
This latest addition to the foodie neighbourhood, Dando Zest’s authentic wholesome meals is a culinary delight right here at Freedom Park. This new buffet restaurant offers South African inspired meals, with traditional cuisine as its signature offering.

Ditsong Museums (DMSA) in collaboration with City of Tshwane (CoT), Freedom Park, Council for Geosciences and other museums will be celebrating International Museums Day 2018 at the Ditsong National Museums of Cultural History on Friday 18 May 2018. The event will be attended by about 500 learners from the different schools in Tshwane.
