Gauteng hosts healing session with families of psychiatric patients

Healing session with families of psychiatric patients private

17 February 2017

The family members of the deceased mental health patients who were transferred from Life Esidimeni to Non-Governmental Organisations have requested that the healing session should be kept private and not open to the media.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The session is aimed at providing a platform for families to reflect on what has happened and share experiences with one another. The request for the healing session was made to the Premier during a meeting with the families in December 2016.
