The visit will expose the 300 young patriots from across the country to the strategic overview of Freedom Park as a National Heritage Destination. The key areas of work for the young patriots include being ambassadors for the department. The young patriots will implement project activities intended to build awareness on the South African history, arts, culture and heritage.

The project will also focus on the key elements of our heritage such as the arts and cultural assets in order to consolidate our national identity.
