We are honoured and deeply humbled by His Majesty the King of Bapedi Nation, King Thulare III choosing Freedom Park as a site for the planting of the Bapedi ancestral flower in honouring 16 Days of Activism. Freedom Park conserves, preserves, protects fauna and flora, and could not have been a better choice. Freedom Park is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2020. Occasions like these remind us of the mandate bestowed upon us by government, one of those being Social Cohesion, Nation Building and Reconciliation; in addition to our primary mandate of Honouring heroes and heroines of the struggle for freedom and humanity.
