Freedom Park, a National Heritage Site in Pretoria, will on Saturday 3 December host the annual 5-kilometer reconciliation walk. The mandate for Freedom Park is to advocate on matters relating to reconciliation, nation building and social cohesion. More than 500 walkers from various sports clubs are expected to attend.
The Embassy of the State of Palestine will on December 2nd 2022, in line with the occasion of International Day of Solidarity with the people of Palestine (November 29), honour H.E. Dr. Naledi Pandor by awarding her with the Grand Star of the Order of Jerusalem by H.E. Dr Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine.

The National Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, in collaboration with the Angolan Embassy to South Africa and Freedom Park, a national heritage site, will on Sunday, 13 November 2022 host a public lecture in tribute to Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto, the Founding President of the Republic of Angola.
