Freedom Park in partnership with Kool 2B South African 1 Foundation, will launch the Kool 2B South African Campaign on Friday 29 July 2022. The objective of the launch is to pay tribute to freedom liberators, military veterans and to pledge allegiance to the national flag. The launch event is targeted at children and youth.  The campaign aims to enhance to the public, knowledge on freedom, patriotism, and democracy.

Members of the media are hereby informed of the cancellation of the Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto’s Bust donation to Freedom Park and the Public Lecture events. The cancellation is due to the passing on of the former Angolan President, Dos Santos. The events were expected to take place at Freedom Park , on the 12th and the 13th of July 2022, respectively.

The Embassy of Cuba and Freedom Park,  invite the members of the media to a critical conversation about recollection of memory and incidents that lead to the discovery of the remains of Ernesto Che Guevara in July 1997, 28 years after he was executed. The event will include a wreath laying ceremony, a video about Ernesto Che Guevara and a conversation led by Dr Jorge Gonzalez Perez , as head of the team that found the remains.
