Freedom Park, a national heritage site in Pretoria, will wrap up its Africa Month activities with a zoom link televised dialogue, on 28 May 2023. Advocate Mojanku Gumbi, Dr. Nkamuhayo Rwacumika aka Kihura Nkuba, Professor Saths Cooper, are expected to a play crucial role in the unfolding of a one-hour long dialogue.

Freedom Park,  in partnership with Africa-Silencing the Guns with Drums, will on 25 May 2023 celebrate Africa Day, under the theme:” Opportunities in Challenging Times. The commemoration is in line with the African Unity objectives: to achieve greater unity, solidarity, and an aim to ensure that all Africans enjoy their human rights.

As the Country celebrates Freedom Day under the theme “Consolidating and Safeguarding our Democratic Gains”. Freedom Park, a national heritage site, in Pretoria, will open its gates to the public free of charge; in the spirit to celebrate our hard-earned freedom.  Freedom month was launched at Freedom Park, on the 6 April 2023,  by Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Mr. Zizi Kodwa.

JOHANNESBURG -South Africans are in for a treat and will have their senses delighted by a truly pan-African event that transcends race, nationality and borders.
Mama Afrika is the brainchild of SAFTA award-winning producer and Co-Founder of The Seed Thru Arts (NPC), Jamela Johnross Vuma, more affectionately referred to as JRoss and his wife, dancer and choreographer, Megan Erasmus Vuma.
